We had Ricardos INCREDIBLE van for 8 days (we wish it was longer!) He went above and beyond to make sure we had the best road trip in Portugal. His van is equipped with everything you need and more! He has really thought about how to make a road trip work so easily. The car is extremely fuel efficient and the bed was a lot comfier than expected. We loved the personal touches and the solar panel was a huge bonus and made life much easier for charging phones, cameras and even the fridge. He is always willing to help and is only a text / call away. We would HIGHLY RECOMMEND Ricardo and his van to everyone!! Can’t wait to come back!!! 🙂

Certainly an experience that I will suggest to many people. The van has everything needed to escape a few days of routine and enjoy life. Stove, fridge, water tank for small washes, solar panel to carry technology … In addition the owners are friendly and always helpful. Something I hope to repeat. I strongly advise! 🙂

It was amazing! Ricardo from the beginning offered all the assistance possible and clarified all the doubts we had.

The motorhome left nothing to be desired. Good sleeping space, great fridge, we cooked in the car every day and I especially loved the colorful lights that came on when it got dark. Surely an experience that would repeat when going again to Portugal. ❤

We rented the Minicamper for a whole week including a table, 2 chairs, a solar shower and 2 surfboards. The minicamper is something between camping in a tent and a bigger mobile home. It’s surely more convenient to get around with all your stuff, the bed inside, gas stove, etc. in the minicamper, but it has not the comfort of a mobile home. The martresses could be harder. After a couple days we felt some effects of the wooden slats under mattresses. Table and chairs are highly recommended, since you don’t have much cooking area inside the car.

The solar shower isn’t that helpful if you don’t have something around you where to hang it. We actually didn’t use it. The surfboards were brand new, bought by Teresa & Ricardo. If you’re new to surfing or still learning, they work quite good smaller waves. At least, they did for us.

Ricardo & Teresa build the interior of the Camper and manage the rental by themselves. They were very nice and helpful prior to and during the rental.
All and all, we had a great time with the minicamper during our trip along the Costa Vicentina.

We had a perfect stay in the van that we now call Magic Maggie. It has all you need – it’s well equipped and perfect for two friends or partners. Easy to drive around! We absolutely loved Magic Maggie and recommend everyone who wants to go on an adventure to rent her. It’s a possibility to see more in fewer days – and to experience Portugal in an authentic way. We went to Ericeira and the coast to Peniche to surf – and there are heaps of secluded and social beautiful unique spots to sleep overnight. To go to sleep after a dinner on the transportable kitchen and crazy beautiful sunsets, sleep right next to the ocean with the sound of waves and wake up and open the back doors and see the the magical scenery. We are in love with the van and Portugal. Ricardo is an unbelievable good host, he answers very quickly and he goes beyond to help you with everything. Thanks for the most wonderful stay – we didn’t imagine it would be this awesome. We will definitely come back!

Nous avons loué un van pour 4 jours en septembre. Une expérience incroyable dans les paysages magnifiques du Portugal. Le van est pratique, économique et facile à conduire. Le lit est confortable et les rangements sont pratiques. Je suis très satisfait de Road campers. Très bon sens du service.

Carrinha muito bem personalizada, uma autentica casa auto suficiente, muito cómoda pois todo o espaço interno transforma-se em cama. Vem toda equipada e pronta para cozinhar. O pormenor dos leds faz toda a diferença.

Teresa and Ricardo are very good host and renting their mini camper van was the best idea ever! We got local tips, transfer both arriving and leaving and anything we asked for! It made it possible to travel in just 4days from Lisbon to Lagos and up north on the coastline, sleeping in the finest beaches and breathtaking places. The van has everything you need and a bit more even with all the lights and the kitchen etc. Thanks

Myself and my wife travelled for a week on the south coast of Portugal with this Camper Van. It was perfect for our needs, light, comfy and easy to drive. We were confident driving either on ground streets and inside cities, parking, etc. It gave us all the freedom we wanted. The inside is tidy and comfy. I’m about 1.80 meters tall and had no issues at all sleeping. The owners provided extra blankets for the cold (which was great since we took only hand luggage with us). The solar panel provides light at night and charge your phone, so you don’t have to worry about running out of battery. You can see they’ve went a great length designing the interior to be as useful and neat as possible. Thank you for such a great job!

RoadCamper’s exceeded our expectations in every way. The van was easy to drive and with all the wonderful local tips we received we saw some sights of Portugal’s would have never known about. Comfortable bed and easy to drive. The van also has a bunch of fun extras in it…like stuff for cooking, water and even solar power so you can plug things in without killing the battery when you’re parked. The vehicle is also more discreet than a regular camper van which means you have more options of where to spend the night if needed. Ricardos a nice guy and was very helpful and available when needed.

My girlfriend and I rented the car for 8 days. The car was exactly what we wanted. Small, to get anywhere we wanted and have no trouble with finding parking slots even in cities like Porto. But also really comfortable and absolutely enough space for 2 persons to have a good sleep. There is all you need: bed stuff even for chilli nights, extra battery for your smartphones and cameras and the lights at night (the battery was always charged due to the solar panel on the roof), a little cooking place to prepare some food and coffee, etc. There is also a little fridge that keeps your food and drinks fresh. The car is quite new and easy to drive. It was absolutely clean as it can be. The owners Ricardo and his wife are incredible friendly and helpful with just everything. They gave us tips where to go and we’re also available at any time. You can feel that it’s their passion and so was their service – just perfect

The van was great for our 10 days trip trough Portugal! Although it was not too much space to sleep for two people it’s a very cozy and well structured van with everything we needed for our vacation. Also because of it’s size it was easy to drive and to get wherever we wanted to go. Teresa and Ricardo were great hosts and very helpful people! Thanks for trusting us with our van, we will come back! 🙂

My husband and I rented their van for 3 days to go to south of Portugal. The van is perfect for a couple of days, not too big not too small, very comfy to sleep, easy to drive, very well designed, we had everything we needed, and it was easy to find free camp to sleep. Plus, Ricardo & Teresa, the owners were so nice, very reactive and easy to communicate, and they even pick us up and drop us off at the airport for free. We highly recommend them!

What a great experience was traveling with Road Campers van! Me, my husband and our 3 year hold daughter went to Geres, and we enjoyed so much the nature, the quietness and the outstanding views! Our daughter had so much fun that she didn’t want to leave the van when we came back. We really recommend RoadCampers. It was an unforgettable experience!

Ricardo is a nice parson and he is always ready to help you if you have some trouble during your experience. Moreover the van is clean and the forniture is very hospitable. It’s possible to live inside the van for many hours in a comfortable way.

Nous sommes partis à deux pendant une semaine sur la cote Portugaise et malgré un temps de Novembre assez mitigé nous avons passé de super vacances!!

Le van est très agréable et le propriétaire, Ricardo, est aux petits soins! Nous avons pu l’appeler à plusieurs reprises pour avoir des informations lors de notre voyage, et il nous a également déposé dans le centre de Lisbonne après que nous lui ayons rendu le véhicule!

Um experiência realmente fantástica, mesmo em tempo de inverno… A van tem muito espaço e está toda equipada com roupa de cama e loiças cozinha. Não nos preocupámos com nada! Passámos muito bons momentos dentro da van… Não tivemos frio 🙂 Foi espetacular poder estacionar em qualquer lugar, mesmo em cidade. O Ricardo é uma pessoa muito disponível e ajudou-nos quando foi preciso. Recomendo vivamente esta experiência!

Super easy and neat rental. Ricardo thought about everything to make the journey nicer and worry-free. The van we rented was a Berlingo and it’s super convenient for a couple and nice to drive. Going by van is perfect in Portugal so RoadCampers is a really good choice to find the car to explore the country with! 

A campervan tem tudo o que necessita para umas férias descansadas e tranquilas.

É de destacar o facto de não cobrar nenhum valor extra pelo fogão,  sacos de cama e almofadas, é raro encontrar uma empresa assim.

Alugamos a Berlingo XL na Road Campers e foram super simpáticos, cuidadosos e esclareceram todas as dúvidas possíveis. A carrinha era discreta e super confortável. Tinha tudo o precisávamos. Destaco o facto de ter um frigorífico sempre ligado, mesmo com a carrinha parada/desligada, o que permitia ter sempre água e cerveja fresquinha! Dá para carregar os telemóveis à noite sem qualquer preocupação pois tem 2 baterias e um painel solar. Excelente experiência! Sem dúvida a repetir 🙂

A roadcampers excedeu as nossas expectativas, a carrinha estava equipada com tudo o que precisávamos (pedimos ainda um chuveiro que funcionava muito bem), acho que não faltou nada! Carrinha muito confortável (dormimos que nem uns bebes), gasta pouco e estaciona-se em qualquer lado. O atendimento é incrível. Sem dúvida a repetir! 🙂
